Natuzzi’s unique BYBORRE 3D™ fabric, in five colorways, is a double sided fabric using two robust, high tenacity yarns used specifically for their suitability for upholstery. The fabric has been developed with both functionality and aesthetics in mind, using a combination of yarns on the front and back of the fabric ensuring that the properties of this knitted fabric are ideal for upholstery. The front side of the knit which becomes the face side of the fabric which will be on display, is a yarn combining wool with synthetic fibers. This yarn has been developed with a highly modern spinning method that is based on core spun yarn technology. The core spun yarn quality has a high-performance quality for upholstery use as it has an exceptional abrasion resistance due to a special developed technology, a high level of stability and a good handle. The back side of the fabric is not seen unless you take your furniture piece’s cover off, but it is no less important as it is equally responsible for the farbic’s strength, rigidity, and drape. The backside of this unique BYBORRE 3D™ fabric is made with a recycled polyester yarn made from post-consumption plastic bottles locally produced in northern Italy. Recycled polyester, which requires fewer processing stages, consumes less energy during the production process, resulting in a considerable reduction in carbon emissions compared with virgin polyester. Using a synthetic fiber on the backside of this fabric adds to the durability and suitability for upholstery.
